EAGLE – Earlier this year Landon White scored 42 points in a game against Post Falls. Wednesday night he topped that by scoring 43 points against Meridian. White was 16-24 from the field, 5-9 from downtown and 6-9 from the free throw line.  Oh, and he also pulled down 12 rebounds. The 43-point effort sets a new single-game scoring record for Eagle High School and is the most by any player in the entire Southern Idaho Conference since 2008.  Not bad at all.

White’s scoring was still not enough for an Eagle victory.  Meridian held off the Mustangs 77-73.

Eagle falls to 11-7 overall and 6-3 in conference play.
